Internationally Recognized Calibration Agency
KATS Accreditation/Internationally-recognized Calibration Services Provider
In August 2001, the Korean Agency for Technology & Standards (KATS) granted us KC01-048 certification for 110 items in seven calibration categories (Length, Angle, Surface Roughness, Pressure, Torque, Resistance and Temperature) under the Standards Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS). As a result, we have been able to provide calibration services that are recognized internationally. Additional accreditations (18 items in 4 categories) have subsequently been granted, enabling us to offer our customers ever-greater convenience. Currently, our calibration service covers five items in two categories (Length and Related Quantities) according to the new calibration classification scheme established under the amended law.

KOLAS ( Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme)
The Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS) is the governmental accreditation body established in 1992 in accordance with the Law on Administrative Organizations and Institutions and Article 18 of the Organizational Decree of associated agencies. KOLAS is part of the Korea Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) and is tasked with establishing a system of national standards; operating a system of industrial standardization, establishing criteria for determining product safety, quality and measurement; studying, researching, developing and supporting industrial technologies and engineering methods; operating a system for accrediting calibration and testing laboratories; and working with other countries and international institutions with regard to standardization. The Administrator of KATS also represents KOLAS externally.
